Organizational Structure – Departments

The Departments section allows you to organize your employees into structured units for better management and reporting.

To access:

  1. Navigate to Organizational Structure from the main menu.

  2. Select Departments.

Available actions:

  • Add a new department

  • View all departments

  • Edit department details

  • Delete a department

  • Activate/Deactivate a department

Adding a New Department:

When creating a department, you can:
  • Enter the Department Name in both Arabic and English.

  • Assign a Parent Department if applicable.

  • Set the department’s status to Active or Inactive.

Additional Information (View Only):

  • Shifts: Displays the work shift schedule for the department (view-only; cannot add or adjust from here).

  • Employees: Shows the list of employees assigned to the department.

  • Locations: Displays linked gate groups or access locations.

Editing a Department:

When editing, you can:

  • Update department names.

  • Assign or remove employees from the department.

  • Link or unlink locations.

  • Change the department’s status.
